Food Banks: Benefit Sanctions Leave Clients Hungry For Months

A new study finds that vulnerable people who fall foul of benefit rules can be plunged into reliance on food parcels for up to half a year.

Many of whom are working The government is eroding what little help there was by taking away crisis sources By moving them into council control It is very difficult to access this money because no one tells you how to. When you do find out it can take 28 days for a hardship payment for fuel rent etc. Now the government plans to remove that little bolt hole all together. Why Because they don’t care. There is a limit to how many visits to the food bank one can get in a long period of time. Sickening
